Just the shear sight of this man on a Superbike would make all the current SBK riders gulp.

Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

Biaggi has been spanked so many times by Vale, that he'd wet his leathers if Rossi turned up.

I shouldn't have made that crack about the Kwackas. I've always regarded them as manufacturers of bikes with serious power. I remember Simon Crafer & co right up near the pointy end of WSBK.

I hope their day comes again and I think it will. They are competitive in the SS class anyhow.

Impressive but I don't know how much we can read into it: was Rossi on the WSB Pirelli's or his MotoGP Bridgestones? Same weather conditions?

All the same Toseland and Crutchlow will have be ordering smaller helmets in the near future.

He's got a busted leg and hasn't ridden for a month - they're halfway through the season - tyres, weather or phases of the moon don't excuse this ass whoopin'

2 deg cooler. But I doubt very much he would be using the Bridgestones they use for moto gp mate. I'd say he was using the same tyres the Yamaha Superbike team is using. Answers a question someone asked in the Stoner to Honda thread about the moto gp boys turning up to HD and taking on Stroud really dunnit!

    Hello...

You don't get to be 9 times world champ unless you are REALLY talented ( and focussed, hardworking, mentally tough, etc. etc. - Oh and lucky too )
    Rossi IS a legend !!!

Yeah, I reckon it's fair to say - even if he never rides again, he's a LEGEND!
