    Gidday! (FTW)

Hi all, I ride an 04 Fatboy. I'm returning to NZ next month after living in Oz for about 16 years. Heading to Palmerston North. Keen to hook up with like minded bikers when I get there and support club poker runs and events etc (any local info would be appreciated, feel free to PM). I'm a member of the Misfits SMC in Australia, we support all MC's.
Keen to hear from anyone with advice on shipping my bike from Oz to NZ, i.e. who's best to use (I may start another thread for that also).

    Cheers

The Manawatu Riders have regular movements on Friday nights and coffee runs most weekends.

Thanks. Yeah something I've noticed over here over the past 6 years, use to be most bike riders here would give a wave or nod regardless of ride, nowadays you'd be lucky to get a wave from Harley to Harley :|

    Welcome back...

Welcome back, your dreams were your ticket out
Welcome back, to that same old place that you laughed about
Well the names have all changed since you hung around
But those dreams have remained and they've turned around
Who'd have thought they'd lead ya
(who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Back here where we need ya
(back here where we need ya)
Yeah we tease him a lot cause we got him on the spot
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back

We always could spot a friend, welcome back
And I smile when I think how you must have been
And I know what a scene you were learning in
Was there something that made you come back again
And what could ever lead ya
    (what could ever lead ya)
Back here where we need ya
(back here where we need ya)
Yeah we tease him a lot cause we got him on the spot
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back

    Welcome aboard, and welcome back.

Couple of threads to keep an eye on:

    Manawatu: weekend rides
    Manawatu: Tag o rama!
    Manawatu: Rant n Rave
    Manawatu: Friday Night Rides.

And depending on how soon you get back:
    Manawatu: 2nd Annual Rex's Memorial Ride (29 May 2010)

Welcome to KB - and the return to NZ. I've shipped a bike from Oz to here - but only cause I took it over to Oz with me. i used Conroy removals, mainly because they are a local HB company and have a depot in Coolbuture in QLD.

I believe its harder to get a bike to Oz than into NZ. but all the best anyway.
