Well last time we got there, it was dark towards wellington & damp on ground in Lower hutt -but track was 9/10 dry & would have been dry for racing probably the whole day. But only 4 showed so they couldn't really run the class (3 when decision made, I was a little late). If there was 1/2doz or more it would have gone ahead.

Usual price I guess, erm $45 isn't it?

I thought $35, but I could be wrong.
$50 for the family when you have associate memberership with the Kart club.

Awesome turn out today, was great to see so many keen riders! I actually enjoyed my day quite a lot and didn't mind that it was wet. It was different. Richard you rode well mate, needa do swaps for keeps though on that motor of yours. Hope everyone had a good day, I finally got a chance to learn how to ride in the wet! I was terribly slow at the start of the day but felt much better as soon as the first race started. As long as I beat Steve, that's all that mattered haha.

Yeah great turn out seeming the conditions were less than desirable. I felt like I was riding not racing. Deffinitly had the front wash out a couple of times, but not bad enough to bail, but bad enough to make me crap my pants. Dry weather next time please!!

Was good to see everyone today, even Nigel.

    Hehehe Dave!
Good riding everyone! Very few crashes considering the conditions, just a pity some of the bikes didn't seem to be enjoying the moisture!
Rangi and I had a fun day splashing about in the puddles. The wet doesn't normally bother me too much but I was a little weary of the large lake like puddles forming on the bottom corners and being unfamiliar with slicks, but soon realised that the slicks were more reliable than my old tyres and they didn't move on me once all day, so stoked with all that! Can't wait for some dry track to really stretch the little Maori's legs!

I had great day out there today.
I have always hated riding in the rain, so I concentrated on riding nice and smooth and never once had any wheel spin or sliding.
Next time I might try changing gears

Results for the day are posted:

Yep had a blast. It had been 8 weeks since my last racing fix, really good to get back on track. Also good to see a new face out there today as well as my arch rival Andrew back in the saddle. Got to grab the results before he's back to full power. Lets hope for better weather next round. Trudes was great to see you going so well on rangi the little beast is so quick now. Really enjoyed watching the battle with Nigel, almost held him out.

Forgot to mention how cool it is seeing so many new riders turning up each round now!! Very cool indeed!! Bad luck Ryan for breaking his brake lever mount. There aren't may pieces that we can't all chip in and mend...but that's one of them!

All we need is for some fine weather meetings and it won't be long till we have close to 30 bikes there! 23 at the last slipway round I think (I've been wrong before though)
