20th June Wellington - Kaitoke Fun Day with Karts

Well after the dismal attendance last meeting we should try make a better showing this weekend. Doesn't seem to clash with much (except a trail ride I'd like to go to, but we all have to make sacrifices).

If we fade away the karters will lose interest in us as a paying resource. We've had enough to run two classes before.

So who's in?

So who's the toughest bucket racer in town? Is he scared of thunderstorms? -Certainly Not! Is he scared of the the wind? - Not a Jittery Jot! -. . . .ARGHH Lynley Dodd has infected my brain!!!

(parents will understand).

Yeah keen as. Hopefully this will be the last round I do with a slow bucket. Holidays are 2 weeks away, then the bucket gets the new carb put on and some other maintenance. Maybe even a new paint job. Maybe sleeker wings...... who knows!?

Planning on being there to show off Rangi's new and improved power and speed (I said Rangi's, not mine) putting his rear slick on tonight and will have a front on by then too, so hopefully it isn't wet cause that may freak me out especially as he was getting a lovely little arse wiggle out of corners and trouble keeping the front tyre on the ground last time I rode him..... so should be interesting and amusing if nothing else!

Spoke to Andrew this morning I think he is planning to race if the weather is good. I will be there rain hail shine.

Awesome, I look forward to racing you guys. It will be good to see Andrew there too if he can make it. I was worried he would be out for a lot longer than this. I will race no matter what the weather is, even on my slicks. So I hope a handful of us can show up at least
