Waking to a phone call to learn this horrific news, I will miss him... also my mechanic, and great to take photos of... RIP Dobsy, my deepest sympathies to the family... first time I have cried & will admit it.

    Absolutely horrendous news.
Sincere sympathies to family and friends and to Neville Wooderson.

I saw destroyed in 30 seconds the other night and watched a racer hit one of the walls at 280kmh. He is back racing after 18 months of healing.
They said on that program that 265 have lost there lives on that circuit so you can imagine how many more were maimed and injured.

I know the race is an institution but you have to wonder why it continues with such high loss of life?? 300kmh through country lanes, stone walls, ancient curbing, villages..............

I know they died doing what they loved but I've now seen a few families of those that have lost riders (wives, children, parents) attend their funerals and it's small consolation to them. It's a massive loss, it's gut wrenching and those that are left behind will never be the same

    RIP Paul .................................................. ....................................

Paul Dobbs TT race results RESPECT

As usual there's going to be those that jump up and down about the TT and Paul Dobbs is another one on the list of those who haven't came home.
Take it as you like but fact is Dobsy has finished more ISLE OF MAN T.T. races than any other Kiwi in the 100 years since the first Kiwi rode there. 37 races in all plus one DNF officially, figure last nights DNF won't go down in the stats though.
Time to take our hat off to the man
    RIP paul

RIP Dobsy, you were a good bloke... and a bloody good rider to watch. Loved you at Paeroa too. This is not going to be easy on your family, I hope they will be strong for you. The IOm TT is such a treacherous circuit. Big kahunas for giving it a go, I know I never will because of the dangers involved. Good on you mate. Fuck I feel really sad hearing this, put an end to my Friday night. Was so keenly watching your updates on your website too. I wud log in every other day. don't know what to say ...
