    Got the G/F on 2 wheels finally

    Well, me and the g/f went and got her scooter today.

    '94 Suzi AL50R (I think) for $1k @ the car dealership in town.
    Bloody good takeoff, wastes me at the lights and just about everything else so far

    I wouldn't convice anyone to buy a FXR unless they were a really shit rider. It's so piss easy to use, just like her scooter but more heavier.... she's getting raw power next time.

    You're not doing it right, dude. Slip the clutch with the engine going about 9k in first, then do a clutchless upshift to second as soon as it's fully out. Ain't no scooter gonna beat what happens when you do that. I've done well off the line beside quite a few more 'respectable' vehicles. Of course, they pull away after another 100m or so, but I've had my fun and proven my point by then
