    Photos from Sunday

Not that many, too busy riding, flagging and switching wheels back and forth.

Decided that I should head off and get an x-ray this morning. Small chip on the bone. Not to major just a pain in the arse.

Oh talked to Maria again this morning. The got sent home from the hospital last night and told to come back tomorrow so the big boss could assess him. He is currently waiting around for surgury.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Thanks for the updates, pity it's not better news for the two of you.
I take it you're not going to be wearing a concrete boot?

No they have just out a compersion sock on it for the moment, and been told to keep it up and continue iceing it. I will go back Wedneday and get it checked out and he may give me a walking boot at then if he thinks I need it.

My knee felt was worse this morning so I went to the doctor and was then sent to a physio. Torn medial meniscus, torn MCL (medial collerateral ligament) and torn ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) it seems. Extent of damage will be clearer when swelling goes down and more movement can be checked with less pain. I have a compression support and taking anti-inflamatory tablets. At least one crutch was recommended but I'll try till Wednesday (next appointment) without.

My lower leg, below my right knee, was twisted somehow. One of the guys said Pumba's bike ran over me - if it did, it went over the inside of my right knee while I was sliding on my tummy. I decided to overtake Pumba and the rider he was directly behind. As I was going past, Pumba also decided to overtake the rider in front of him. As I went past, Pumba moved towards me while doing his overtaking, and only then noticed me - I could see this was not looking good and touched the front brake to try to avoid contact with Pumba - unfortunately I lost the front end at that stage and went straight into Pumba's path. I did not predict Pumba's movements and screwed up on the brakes once I saw what was happening.

Bugger! Wouldnt bother with a recon, you'll spend too much time off the bike!! also riding off-road without an acl is no worries, all the best with the recovery.

did you have fun chasing me on Saturday? Interesting to see that an overweight never-was on a $400 shitter was able to keep pace with you!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
