I think there must have been atl least 10 off's.... I came off in the sweeper in the rain... only a bruise and lots of mud.

The sight of three bike piled up the bank was impressive... but a worry also...

Thats the part of buckets that scares me... its generaly painless when you come off and slide by yourself.. its getting tangled up with others that seem to casue the most pain... I try and aviod any contact at all cost like most I assume and I try not to push to much in the heat of the battle... some times you just have to wait for a screw up to get past.

Mind you I only race in B grade... A grade looks alot more agresive.
    One for the road...

Yeh, I'm going to be having words with the team manager over that one... running out of gas is not acceptable!

In fact a hanging offense as far as JC is concerned.
Understanbly from my point of view, completely preventable and puts the guy behind you at huge risk of plowing up the back of you.

What were you practicing? Not going fast? I'm probably 40-50kg heavier than you at a guess. You shouldn't have any trouble passing me, even at 'practice pace'. The bike I was on was incorrectly geared and isn't getting a good mixture through the carb so it's not like I had a whole lot of power to play with.

Rick. Thanks for running out of gas, that and others DNFs and DNSs got me the best result I'm ever likely to manage.
