Just the 'flavour savour' at the minute, other styles come and go though.
Good to grow facial hair every now and then and have a break from the shaving.

I've got an affro, does that count?...Mate in his forties asked me why I was growing my hair so long,high....told him...Cause I can....touche..

Had a goaty and No1 hair for years...decided to bring affros back into style...makes a difference when you are old and don't care what people think..

Had a mo since I was 18. Shaved it off once and felt bereft.
Had a beard briefly in my 20s but made the mistake of letting it get too long and found it uncomfortable. Now have a very short goatee which is just right.

Facial hair fashions are fascinating. Rightly or wrongly the presence or absence of fuzz is taken to represent attitudes and lifestyles. After WWII the fashion tended to be clean-shaven, and beards came to be associated with beatnik poets, seamen and professors of philosophy. In the late 60s and early 70s no self-respecting 20 year old would lack a moustache, although it had to be bushy and preferably droopy (no Hitler toothbrush types, thank you). A couple of years ago I was told that only middle-aged gay men had a moustache without an accompanying goatee...
The tyranny of fashion is insidious. IMHO if you need a hairstyle, facial hair or clothing to define who and what you are it's pretty sad...

I shave once 2-3 days, for that messy look. Partner likes it, but if i let it get out of control then i get told off
i dont like it long, but i am too lazy to shave all the time, so once every few days works for me.
Ohh and if it gets too long then it gives me trouble with the helmet strap

Save it dude, I've got a full 'Viva Zapata' mo and a grouse set of 'burns. along with a No1 hair cut.

May look a bit Village People and some say only gays wear a mo like that but so what? Chrissy-Bimbo likes it, same as she did in '73!! (It's a bit greyer now though)

lol - the humor never ends - real mullets are facial hair they dominate the owner and often link with a dirty FTB beard or something.
