A guy I used to work with used to knock people back for having their shoelace undone or shirt untucked... aaaand, most of the time, it was pretty much for his own amusement... door people are a funny breed...

I have a dear friend that was refused entry to a bar back in the days for not wearing shoes. She went back to the bus she was crashing in and found two shoes, one for each foot, neither matched. The bouncher attempted to refuse her a second time, but she pointed out he did not tell her they had to be a matching pair Those were the days
