Shame about the keys and service records Al!

You may be able to bypass the tender process. I offered them $20 for my old helmet and they jumped at it. Removed visor, liner, side-pods etc and then beat the helmet to death with an axe. That alone was worth $20!

I'm sorry you haven't got more of your gear back, but I am glad that it sounds like somebodies are going to be held to account.

tbh/// I not really surprised they couldnt find your keys.... I can never find mine!

Its all a bit acedemic now really you havent got/ are unlikely to get the useful stuff back.... At least you got a payout and that bit was sorted. Let us know when the public hanging is... they still do that dont they?

Thanks guys, I signed a statement yesterday as well. The gear was recovered in Feilding, in fact, a large amount of stolen property has been recovered in Feilding and the investigation is well underway. I don't really care about the lost gear persay, I'm just glad that a few scum will be taken out of circulation for awhile. I'm looking forward to the outcome, most interesting. Mind you, I may be able to get another pair of Triumph pants at a good price

Awesome that some of the gear has been recovered and hopefully some local crims will be taken out of circulation for a while. Disappointed to hear that a lot of was in our small community, but not surprised.

    Sux ass!!!!!!!!!!!

Mate, all I can say is buga.

It's a sad state of affairs, and happens so very often. Back in the day break in burglers were fairly discrete and were just after goodies.
These days they are teeny bopper ass crunchers just out for a thrill and to cause some chaos. The make a mess, leave deposits of excrement, and vandalise and graffiti whatever they can.
The law does nothing to curve it really, and the punishments are usually a slap on the hand with a wet bus ticket..... And if you heaven forbid maim or injure an intruder in the process you will most likely end up worse off than the offender..........

The system sux, and the burglars/ intruders have a 70% chance of getting away scott free, and if they are the unlikely 30% that are caught, the cops confiscate the gear and auction it off for a profit..... And the crim gets a slap on the wrist and walks..... cause most of em are too young!

Glad to see your punks got caught, hopefully they have a history and will be on the new 3 strikes list and locked away for a long time.

    All good!

Well, got a call from the officer in charge today. He arrested a guy who was not present at the original search and he's been charged with possession. Of my gear. Of course, the guy said he brought it at the Sanson market so I guess that's true..............

Anyway, he's in court as we speak, so he can tell that one to the Judge. HAHAHA

Great to see the cops getting some type of result. Let's hope the wet bus ticket comes in the form of the Auckland white pages

Maybe there needs to be an organised ride that finishes up in that street?

Call for a volunteer to knock on the door to ask if they have any bike gear for sale with 20 odd bikers parked at the end of the driveway.

Could even be worth a tag post...

can only hope Al but from experience being slapped with a wet bus ticket seems to be the worst penalty .. but then again depends on their record!!

we can only hope they have a nice long record and Judge is sick of good ppl being ripped off

catch up for coffee later ? (will send text)
