Only pussies need weapons. I could see how it would appeal to certain people.

I ask you, would you let this guy have a laser capable of not only horrendously maiming, but also killing a life (Animal or human)

Given the fact that he does not have a firearms licence, (no one is deemed capable of holding a firearms licence until a background check has been done........... I hate to think), would you feel safe if such a person was able to have a weapon that in theory is WORSE than a firearm (and, from the looks of it TOTALLY LEGAL)
Thanks for all the compliments! I am a responsible person who has a firearms licence, and I treat all firearms with great care, and only use them in accordance with the Arms Act 1983. I only use firearms on the NZHA rifle range, and on farms with the permission of the land owner or lawful occupier. I also do not encourage violence against anyone, especially not the police.

Apparently they have some .223 Bushmasters. I'd love to go rabbit hunting with one of them.

    I see.

In your previous post, you tell us that "Thanks for all the compliments! I am a responsible person who has a firearms licence, and I treat all firearms with great care, and only use them in accordance with the Arms Act 1983. Now, you tell us that you want to go rabbit hunting with .223 caliber "bushmasters", a high velocity "barrel burner" round.

What the fuck do you want to do that for?

Firearms require responsible owners, and a .223 high velocity round, for a rabbit is crazy.

Why does your avatar say "fuck the Police?"

I'm no anti gun lobbiest, but for the love of god, what sort of community are we going to have if (if you are to be believed that you have a firearms licence) if a firearms licence holder advertises "fucking the Police" (or do you have a fetish for men in uniform, and actually want to have sex with a police man (therefore perhaps "get fucked by the Police" would be more suitable)

What do you want with a highpowered laser, capeable of burning through steel?

Is the Roaring season coming early this year, and your order of .500 "Black powder express" not going to be here in time?

I hope that you will see that I am trying to point out that society simply cannot allow weapons such as this laser to be sold to the general public!

By your own admission, you "shoot car doors", and, you claim to be vetted by the Police as being "a suitable person to own, store, and use firearms in New Zealand".

What about the dropkicks in NZ society who are NOT permitted to have firearms, I suggest that "burning holes in car doors" will be the least of our worries!

My avatar does not in any way reflect my opinion of the NZ Police, or the NZ Government, or any of its agencies. It is simply the name of a song, created by a rap group called 'NWA'.
As for rabbit hunting with a .223 Bushmaster, that is no more irresponsible than hunting rabbits with a .22LR.
As they say, "Don't feed the troll!"
If you do not agree with my comments, then please ignore them instead of getting upset.

Have you ever heard of the word 'troll'? This is from Wikepedia:

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[2] In addition to the offending poster, the noun “troll” can also refer to the provocative message itself, as in that was an excellent troll you posted. While the term troll and its associated action, trolling, are primarily associated with Internet discourse, media attention in recent years has made such labels highly subjective, with 'trolling' being used to describe many intentionally provocative actions outside of an online context.
