Senior health care solution -

So you're a sick senior citizen and the government says there is no nursing home available for you - what do you do?

Our plan gives anyone 65 years or older a gun and 4 bullets. You are allowed to shoot 2 MP’s and 2 Ministers – not necessarily dead!

Of course, this means you will be sent to prison where you will get 3 meals a day, a roof over your head, central heating, and all the health care you need! New teeth - no problem. Need glasses, great. New hip, knees, kidney, lungs, heart? All covered. (And your kids can come and visit you as often as they do now).

And who will be paying for all of this? The same government that just told you that you they cannot afford for you to go into a home.

Plus, because you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any income taxes anymore.

IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY OR WHAT?

I agree and if you shoot the right MP (say Nick Smith) you will probably be a hero

You also cant take your own life as thats illegal (yes only attempting it is enforcable)
if you get really sick you cant ask for your life to be ended (mostly to end the suffering) and no one can help or they go to the big house

fundamental problem with a socialistic society which trains us to expect everything to be taken care of by the state but for that to happen we need to tax our people at such a high rate that productive people will go overseas during there taxable years then return for a retirement on the state

I would personally pay $1000/year from my own income AFTER tax towards this, if this initiative was put into place.

You'll sleep easier knowing the dicks running this country at present will give themselves a pat on the back for a job well done, closely followed by a nice annual Pay Rise & perhaps something with a future benefit.
