Dave is a Kiwi living in Oz who organises bike transport to Oz.

A couple of us are seriously considering taking our bikes across the ditch for 3/4 weeks.

It appears to be pretty cost effective too as one wouldn`t be able to hire a car for the cost, or so it appears at this stage.

Mate, when and where are you planning?

I'm considering going a week before the SBK , buying a bike there (just a cheapy) and spending a week or two riding around after.

It has website and email addresses.
Get Routed tours will freight your bike to Melbourne for less than you would hire a bike.
I certainly would MUCH prefer to have my own.
But check out the website.

We intend going 30 June pick up the bike in Brisbane then head North, the plan is - inland route to Cairns and back down the coast to Brisbane over 3 - 4 weeks.

Dave Milligan will be in NZ Early Feb
