Sonisphere Switzerland just finished - looks like Woodstock revisited

My cute daughter and her cool husband live in Zurich these days and my son has gone over there for two weeks at the moment, mainly to go to the Sonisphere Festival (heavy metal) with them.

Its just past 2.30am there now and last heard they were on the train on their way home. A few times during the day we heard about the rain and the mud. I've just looked at the facebook page for it here http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...d/242427110794 and omigod it looks a bit like those old images of Woodstock.

I presume SBB would hose them all down before it would let them on its pristine trains.

We lost contact with son because daughter says his cellphone had got rather wet from the rain.

Thought you'd get a smile from seeing this, and that is Switzerland's summer - quite unusual it looks like our winter.
    Cheers

That brings back memories of Glastonbury 4 or 5 years ago. Knee deep mud, thousands of abandoned tents on the Sunday after 3 days of rain. Cat tractors towing artic's & a 8 wheel drive Russian lorry towing the tractors. Ahh, festivals, lovely fun.

They were advertising this as the first time the big four appeared on the same day - Metallica, Megadeath, Slayer and Anthrax. Haven't heard another word from my crew, they will still be sleeping it off.
