Gutted for Aoyama. Another rider out of the race and another high-side before the apex of the corner

Seems to me that the Bridgstones are very unpredictable when they are not within thier thin band of operating temperature. Whats more, the electronics can't save you by cutting the fuel if your not even on the gas when you highside!

it does appears to often be at the transition point when you release the brake and begin to consider opening the throttle., when you are transferring weight to the rear. These guys should be good enough to counter it, or at the very least know that the bridgy's need some heat to work.

I bet theres some clever dick sitting somewhere playing with some device to help pitch the bike forward, and prevent said knarly high-side.

Apart from the obvious (Jorge) I thought Spies and Stoner rode outstandingly well, i'd give ride of the day to Spies though. Fuckin' brilliant!

Speez comes across impressive on and off the bike, that humble attitude works for me. Tracy now has Hayden to worry about.

Yeah, kinda felt for Hayden a bit just pipped at post again, Spies definitely rode an intelligent race though and deserved his placing, crying shame he can't ride Rossi's bike while he's away mending... It will be interesting to see how Spies does at Assen in a few days time considering he knows the track for a change.

Geez Gazza...I've never seen Hayden ride from dead last to 5th like Stoner did! I reckon he did well to keep his head after that horror start, rather than getting flustered and binning it. I'm still standing by my pre season prediction of Spies winning at Laguna Seca too.

That was a brilliant manouvre by Spies on Hayden...gotta feel sorry for Nicky being pipped at the post like that. Stoner did well on his late charge. Gerry Burgess reckon Colin Edwards will take over Rossi's bike.

He seems to be a lot more measured in his passing moves , but somethings going on ?
I don't know whether his head is messed up or he's watching out for his body for next year (if the honda deal is for real) and aiming to stay healthy.
Pity his start wasn't better, getting through the front five would have been the test. It was just getting interesting.Still we'll see what next week brings at Assen.

Spies didnt make a brilliant move on hayden , Hayden ran wide and Spies kept the normal line and gave it a tiny sqirt to actually pass.

As for Colin , i struggle to see why hes on any team , hes not consistant and hes not a winner.

I struggle to see Spies actually winning a race this season but Laguna would indeed have to be his best chance. He might get there by someone else' mis-fortune though. I think a genuine win will come when he's in a works team, then again i'll be happy if i'm wrong, that fella just keeps on impressing...
