I will be out of touch for several days, beginning immediately.
I was upset about the impending damage to the Louisiana coast from the recent oil spill, so when I received the call for help with the clean-up and saw the picture of the oil-soaked creatures washing up on the beach at Grand Isle I had to volunteer.
Every contaminated creature has to be hand-washed thoroughly with detergent. It's a tedious job, but somebody has to do it!
