For sale, Yamaha Scorpio Z. Brilliant bike to get your licence on. I bought it new in 2008 having never ridden a motorbike before and it's been a great, forgiving and easy bike to learn on. Super cheap to fill, about 22km a litre economy. Has an aftermarket screen too which keeps a bit of wind off. Also has a centre stand alongside the side stand which after just battling to oil my new bikes chain, which has no centre stand, is a massive plus. I'm 6ft and it's a good size, but has a low seat height so still would be great for a shorter woman. Zippy round town, and more than capable on the open road. Have taken it all through Central, over to Milford Sound, and down around Southland on numerous occasions, riding along with much bigger bikes.
Has a bit of a scrape on the muffler guard, and one on the right bar end as in photos from an annoyingly low speed slip. Mechanically great and regularly serviced. Rego runs out 13th of the 7th and I will change the oil for the new owner.
Once again though, awesome learners bike. Faster through twisties than the 250 ninjas and much cheaper. 95% of people will buy a big bike once they've got their full, and this is the perfect bike to get you there without splashing tons of cash on a thrashed 1980's bike or a little faired bike that you'll sell for a big loss.
Any questions welcome and feel free to get in contact for a test ride!
Thanks for looking
Ben
