    just when you thought intellect was at an all time low, a thread like this comes along...
    I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

    A "mate" of mine did the same thing once, not lubing but cleaning the chain. His thumb doesn't bend the way it used to any more...

    Got to be honest;
    I use scott oil but not the auto oiler, just the oil.
    I set the bike up on either the centre stand or the paddock stand with her in gear ticking over and dribble/drip oil on the chain through a plastic tube and no where near the sprocket!
    I resist the temptation to put my fingers anywhere near the chain.......what was this guy thinking?

    Well it is thicker then water
    I prefer the 'walk bike forward while mate crawls behind spray lubing chain' method. Always looks sus.

    One of the KB members did the same thing a few years ago
    "If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."
