    FXR exhaust manifold wanted PLEASE

I am after a FXR exhasut manifold for a new exhaust.

I could cut my old one off my modified pipe... (under slung mod) but dont want to... could get one lazer cut... tried that... they wanted $50 notes for one...!!! I think this is a rip off...

So I am begging for one to buy around the $10-20 mark... will pay for couier if needed, other wise I grind my current one off.... was plaining to have it with me as a spare on race day etc which other could use if needed.

    thanks

Why not just carve one out of a lump of steel. They aren't that complicated

get the $50 one. You like expensive. Actually get it cut out of some stupidly expensive and exotic material.

Sorry you seem to have developed a reputation for doing things in a way that costs buckets of money and reduces performance, can't think why.

I'm sort of using my exhaust manifold at the moment so no you can't have it. I will however give you $500 for your FXR now, save you the effort of puting the final touches on it and then getting frustrated when it runs worse than a stock one. I have your best interests at heart, really.

You obviously haven't been exposed to any of my engineering work. If you can't do it with a jigsaw a drill and a grinder I'm ppretty much screwed.
If push come to shove I could have a go at making one at work but the results won't be pretty.

What would he care what it looks like, it's going on your bike as you're giving yours to him. Doh

I was going to give him the one I made, don't want my pipe falling off halfway through the sweeper.

    Hi Aaron

I use Custom Chambers in Kerwyn Ave - quite handy for you. Yes, it might cost. I just paid $300 for the repair of my son's GPZ600 exhaust which fell apart due to rust. The guy does a great job. He made the down-pipe and mountings for my FXR150 exhaust (unfortunately the muffler is now smashed in a bad way from my crash - would cost too much for him to fix - he reckons ). I've not started to attempt to repair it yet. I might have to use my standard exhaust when I feel ready to work on the bike - which needs many other repairs as well - handlebar mounts, back brake lever/footrest mount .....

Thanks Damien, Yes I have used Custom Chambers over the years and he does know what he doing.

Sorted.... Sent my drawing to another company that does lazer cutting and the price dropped to $18.56... now thats more like it.
Still actually might make one at work... found some 6mm plate instead of the 8mm plate.
