    what your saying is that the timing has/had moved?.... i DID notice a drop off of power (thought it was just me.. so use to the buell's i have been riding..lol)

    well only other option is that detonation (as that is 100% what caused the holes) was induced by low octane gas or a lean effect on both cylinders, - perhaps removing the airbox or some other radical tuning without rejetting.

    you did a GREAT job matey.... if in doubt.. ALWAYS take the safe option.... that is what Dee does at the Vic rounds....

    you were the person in charge... YOU ARE ALWAYS RIGHT..

    the bike was tuned by Peter sales.. nothing has been changed....... BUT, i DID put more oil in the supply tank... best i check if it was the same as last time...... damit.......

    Thats not a lubrication problem, simple logic suggest that oil isn't really needed on the dome of the piston.
