The Germans and the Argentinians look the best so far. And one goes home next round. The Argies vs The Germans - two radically different football styles. I tip the Argies!
    Argentina vs Brazil final.

Seriously. When did England last win the World Cup?
It was a long time ago.

    England have a new coach...
It's waiting for them at Heathrow.

Free counselling is now available for all England supporters on 0800 414141.

Supporting England is like buying a lotto ticket, you hope for so much but get stuff all.

On that performance we didn't deserve to come away with anything and if you call 0800 414141 you will just get some mad German dude laughing his head off!

I'd think that any Kiwi having a go at England's inability to win a second world cup in their national sport is in dark coloured kitchen implement territory...

Well, suitably gutted......not by the fact that England were taught a lesson in free flowing footie this morning by a hungry and motivated German side, more so because we failed to turn up for this tournament and were made to look like a bunch of part timers.

We have the skill and talent within English football to win this farking thing, so it's about time we did. We do harp on about 1966 (I was born in April 1967 so I am a result of a psot match 'celebration') but it was the only time we got into the final.

Bring back El Tel, he was a fecking legend

Ah well, the dream is over for this World Cup, but we still love them lads, eh

Thats the World Cup, must to better next time....

I don't agree with ya there... I thought the performance was good enough, reckon we woz on par with gerry... could whine on about the missed goal and how we had to go in search of a goal etc... but apart from the first 10 - 15 minutes, I thought we were looking pretty good, for a change...
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

ah yes, I agree there. I was more on about the result rather than the performance.

I am quite entitled to, considering my heritage and birthplace...

No, we don't...and we certainly don't have the mental toughness required. Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, Terry....they're as overrated as they are overpaid.

I'm talking about what is didplayed week in week out ine the toughest league in the world, the Premier League. Yes, these guys cant pull it together so well in an England shirt, but we did qualify with two games to spare and showed the lesser teams who was boss (the same as we should have seen in all our group games)

If I know the answer then I reckon I would be worth a mint, agreed that there is frustration at a bad OVERALL performance in this world cup, but we have the talent, it has to be used.

German peformance today was a lesson in attacking and composure......fecking hun....

Unfortunately Max, the type of football and footballer that makes English football the best to watch in the world, is not the type that wins major tournaments...probably would have won the thing a couple of times if we hadn't won in '66...
