Shorty clutch and brake levers?

I have a 1989 Honda CBR250 R MC19, And im looking at doing some light customization, obviously starting with levers :P.. The only catch is they are somewhat a bit of a mission to find for this model of bike. I Have found plenty to suit a CBR600 F2,3,4i from 1991 to 2007.

I am just curious if anybody could tell me if the same levers that suit the CBR600 would also suit my MC19.
Or If anybody could point me in the direction of any aftermarket parts to suit my bike.

Yah, I was asking a said round about them and a guy said that the shorty levers to suit a Honda VTX1300 (03 - 08) are also made for the MC19
