How hot does your ZXR 250 run?

I'm interested to know where other peoples ZXR's sit on the temperature gauge, mine seems to be running quite cold (ie. sits just above the first line over the blue). I'll put up a pic of the gauge tomorrow

Is this normal? Or thermostat? Or something else.

    Thanks

I've had a couple, both indicated cool on the gauge and pretty much rarely kicked in the electric fan.

It's normal. They hardly get above the first line after blue.

Does the guage move (past where it starts when you? turn it on)?

When I turn it on and its warming up the gauge goes up to just inside the "normal" range and doesn't really get higher than that. Unless its sitting in heavy traffic, it would go up and the fan would come on, but generally it sits just inside the "normal" range.

I know it's not good to stress a cold engine, so just checking. It's probably just my feather fingers!

zxr250a would fit in the pre89 class (but be slow compared to the 600's)
