Those Bandits do go pretty hard. Almost as quick as my CBR up to 100kmh.

It's really cool reading threads like this. I'm only 34 but it feels like an enternity ago when I'd be blown away by the acceleration of a simple 250. Believe me, I'm not knocking it, some of the best riding years of my life. Throttle aways at the stop, trying to extract every last horsepower out of it.

So true, especially when you have to 'work' for that power with all 18,000RPM.

Very much so. But it will become a real addiction when you realise how much fun 160 at the back hoop can be.

I bought a 400 instead of something for that very reason..

A 400 will lose my license, but a 1000 will do it 100hp faster..

You won't loose your licence if you don't stop, you can do a runner 100hp faster.

I know that a 250 doesnt put out massive hp but when you have riden a gn250 for a year then jump on a bandit it feels like a massive difference. Once i get my full i will give my dads x11 and blackbird a go for a bit of fun.
