Surely the best place to look would be a similar sized Yamaha engine (and style of bike) that is fuel injected and work from there. Crank sensors etc would require a bit of work but it could be done. The question is, why?

Google 'megasquirt' for all the tech info, and also search for "delcohacking" if you want to do it on the cheap.

Got a Haltech F7B injection computer that is now pretty old, but was intended for (among other things) large bore jap 4 cylinder bikes. Tuneable with a laptop, doesn't require a lot of sensors, so if you can rig up a fuel pump on the bike something like this could work.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
