Hope it is really is just like riding a bike?

Hi all, finally decided after years of swearing I wouldn't ride again to get back in the saddle, even though I stilll think it's more dangerous to ride here in Auckland than it was being a courier in London. I can deny myself no longer.

I stated riding at 12 and stopped 10 years ago (at 22) when I had a couple of BIG seizures out of nowhere. Both times immediatley after getting off my bike. So close calls that convinced me to stay off until I was sure I was safe to get back on.

best part of being off 2 wheels for so long is, all the bikes I rated when I was riding are now "old School" which equalls CHEAP!

no bike yet but as I need to get my licence (was a naughty boy back home and never got a licence) but planning on getting an old 2 stroker until I am allowed to buy a real bike again.

Any tips on where to do this BHS test around south auckland?

It is sorta like riding a bike only you mostly remember how skilled you WERE.
I hear what you're saying about he desirable becoming affordable - after 10 years with no bike I bought an EXUP FZR 1000.
It has taken a wee while for reality to catch up with memory. The best thing about buying a big bike was it pretty much DEMANDED respect

Having ridden my CBR600 round London visiting my girlfriend my abiding memory was that the best thing about the density of traffic was that it made it a bit harder for the cars/trucks to get any speed up as they come to get you
