Was distracted by that but what I WAS going to say was that gizmo that pops up on the screen showing lateral forces as well as braking/accelarating amount is entertaining.Originally Posted by scumdog

That was sad. We'll be seeing more of that with the new tyre changing rulesOriginally Posted by Odin
Tough call for Kimi - do I come in for one tyre and get 3rd,or keep going and win....I know what I would of done. The new tyre rules are influencing the race too much,it's supposed to be drivers and cars, this has mixed it up way too much.Good on Coultard for his 4th,for a guy who was taking a step down past halfway in the field he's done some outstanding races this year.

if he pited it would have been only a few sec because he doesnt need fule onboard, just 1 tyre changed, i recon he could have came out 2nd, but personaly im glad it happened he gets on my nerves,Originally Posted by Motu
last time alonso came 2nd to him, raikkonen said he didnt realy have a need to stress the car so he went easy from half race onward,
so last night alonso said well i pushed him till he stressed the car too much
did anyone else pick that up?![]()
nice to see ferari making a bit of a comback toohopefuly bridgeston can keep it together for the rest of the season
Kimi is a racer,he wants to win - I know if I was in his car and they told me to come in on the last lap I'd a told them to get lost! The new tyre rules mean tyre managment is part of the game now,Kimi stuffed up on his pass on JV and flatspotted the tyre and went off the track...so did Alanso,so did Schumacher and probably a few others.Alonso didn't push Kimi into a mistake,he'd made it a lot earlier.Renault made a bad tyre choice and stategy at Monaco, this week the tables were turned - it's called racing.....

both mclarens had a few lockups toward the end, but what was it around 7 laps on a tyre in that condition is pretty wishful in anyones booksOriginally Posted by Motu
, i think alot of the racers would opt to continue the race and finish 1st, but common sence should tell him that the stakes are to high. He needs points, the team needs point, and because he diidnt want to finish 2nd or possibly 3rd he got none.
And even if he won, he would just be as ungreatful as ever.
Good on ya Fernando![]()
