it is what it is. None of us were there so I dare say we can't comment. However, should we be privy to this type of behaviour when you or your mates crash feel free to kick the shit out of them.

    i can beleive this...

speaking from personal experiance cagers are cunts. when i got T-boned by a cager no one helped me... lucky i wasnt criticaly injured just a bit dazed... got uphad picked up my bike off the midle of the motorway as cars drove around me, and no one did a thing they all just looked, even 2 bikers rode past giving a glance as i strugled to lift my bike every one just looked out their car windows... im sure some were snapping pics on their phones to tell mates "about the idiot on a bike that got hit by a car......"

so yeah sounds like a similar situation...

    Amusing , No Heartfelt, yes.
Even then though, to laugh at them and mock them as they lie dying would be very hard to do.I'd probably render assistance as always and quietly tell em they're fuckwits for getting themselves into this mess.
Seems that it was a slow news day so the poor old motorcyclist got his crash sensationalised.

    Poor bugger,

Its probarbly all media bullshit, funny thing is no one here has taken the reporter to task for writing bullshit (if that is the case).

And if it is true then the laughers have already got their karma. They are destined to be fuckwitted for the rest of their lives.

    My condolences.

I work with a mate of his. He had only 6 months riding experience (on a 250) he absolutely loved his bike. And yes, apparently there were actually people laughing at him. They were most likely wasted, apparently. Sad, sad story!

I guess that behaviour is a reflection on the people mocking, it demonstrates their value (or lack) to our society. I was exposed to the same mentality after a bike accident up here a while ago. Not realising that I have a bike, a customer was talking to me about the accident & commented that he hoped it was fatal (it wasn't!). I kicked him out & have not allowed him back since. This comment was made by a guy who lost his licence drink driving. Some people are just souls spinning down the plug hole of life, oblivious to anything important.

No one in there right mind would stand around laughing (or be allowed to do so) while an injured man is being tended to. They laughed at him immediately after the accident happened, then moved along - before anyone tended to the guy.

Sounds like a dreadful situation you were in. Completely different from mine though - when I smeared my bike down the motorway last year I had nothing but wonderful help from several drivers who saw to helping me off the road, strangers who lifted my bike out from under the back of a car (where it had slid), called the police for me etc. Maybe it was because they saw a girlie under the helmet when I took if off, but I don't think so. You had an awful experience, mine was entirely different.

Oh OK, that makes sense, But in saying that I see shit all the time where people slip over, fall of there push bike, crash on a skateboard, have a fender bender, and I sometimes laugh ........... I also see shit on TV on "when good times go bad" American funniest home movies" as well as a bunch of other Programmes, I also sometimes laugh at their misfortune often because its occasionally funny shit and deserves a giggle, I dont know if they are mortally wounded or not.......................does that make me a bad person, No.

I suspect ........ no Im confident 100% the people who where laughing on this occasion actually didn't know the poor fella was fatally wounded.
