Issues ;
Your main ride will be off the road for nearly a year while you complete it.
Finding a small enough turbo (size of a coffee cup for a 250cc.)
If you burn that engine (and you will) it won't be worth repairing.
The engine is too old and fragile to do that to it.
The project will be a money pit.
See what I'm getting at? If you really want to do a turbo project you need a complete engine on the workshop bench to work with and get the unit complete before going anywhere near a bike with it, and THEN get a rebuilt engine and bolt your conversion onto it.
Lots of people turbocharge bikes (google it) and if you really want to do it then you should, but maybe not yet with your learner bike.
