Interesting reading here. Im not sure I have met you Carver?
Waikato Yamaha have had some staff changes in the last 12 or so months, with the departure of Dave and Jason.

I have read the comments on here and they offer some excellent points for us to improve on.
I like to think all feedback, bad or good is great! Its always good to know where we can inprove.

Thanks for the comments Tri Boy, I had suspected our profile was too low in Hamilton. I have some thing coming in the pipe line which should raise awareness of our brand and encourage some new business.

To give you all a sniff of what is to come, think, a slight change to opening hours, and discounts for prompt payment eg cash.

More to come soon. Thanks James

Good on ya mate. I get pissed off with businesses that get all defensive at bad feedback or ignore it. Using the bad feedback will get more customers in the end (and more $$).

No I do not think we have met recently, as I have not been into your shop in quite a while.
I will be interested to see what you guys come up with, I may pop in for some bits in the future.

Oddly, although I live in Wellington I'll add my 2c

I've bought quite a bit off Boyd's - my boots, 2 pairs of gloves, fox helmet and all on seperate occasions.
They were awesome for price, service and delivery! Being that I'm not in Hamilton, they had to courier me my new gears and delivery was always fast.

After the first purchase of my Fox boots, when I needed more stuff, I just popped them an email and they got back to me fairly quickly with what they had in stock, prices and pictures and charged my card and had them on courier the same day!

They were better service, than ANY of the bike stores here in Wellington - including Lower Hutt.
I've walked in, ready to spend and wandered around for half an hour being ignored.
One trip I went to buy my partner some specific $600 moto boots. Wandered 20 minutes withouth even being greeted, then when I pointedly ASKED for some help, was pointed vaguely in the right direction and basically expected to find them myself - and they wonder why I ended up buying from out of town and will never go back

Hell deal on my bike from Boyds. I'm not sure that there was much in it at the time for them to be fair. GB in the Mt were a bunch of cocks despite advertising they would match any advertised deal they renegged on a deal advertisied in Motorcycle Trader. They had the bike and the colour but couldn't walk their talk when it was put to them. I had another option left - Boyds and they did the deal without a worry. Probably discounted the Oggys and other little bits after the deal was done by 0% but I didn't give a shizz... Greg was a great bloke to deal with at the time and has been ever since. Don't get down from there that often but every time treated like I'm in there weekly and they have a better selection of accessories than any of the AK dealers - with the trip down from the Bombays. And the ride out over the Ragga deviation on the loan bikes while the gasaxe is being serviced is always worth the wee day trip. Go Boyds - you undertsand what a customer centric business is all about - highly recommended
