Any girls out there keen to head along to the track day at Hampton Downs this Sat?

There's a track day/ride day on at Hampton Downs this Saturday and the weather is looking like it's going to be fantastic so will be the perfect opportunity to get out there and have a go on the track. I am headin along and can't wait... no pressure at all about riding fast, it's about having fun and getting out there and doing it.

Sounds fantastic - would love to try and do this one day when I have a bit more experience, and a suitable bike. I hope that you have such a great day, and safe riding. It's such an incredible buzz being on the track.

Katie, there's no excuse for you girl (except the 10+ hours to get up here). A woman went to a track day there a while back, as pillion on her husband's Goldwing, and got Aaron Slight (I think), to take her around the track near the end of the day. She apparently had a huge grin and didn't seem to mind the scraping lol

I will get down there (HD) one day, but it's just a case of hearing about it early enough to organise myself/husband (he did a training day there last year and loved it, I was peed off as I wasn't allowed to ride at the time, and had been booked in for it too)

Haha at the moment my excuse is that the cruiser would look rather other of place - Looking for something small and sporty of the side for some more training and perhaps a track day or two!

And you'll get to HD one day too. Weeee what fun that would be with us two hitting the track!

It was a fantastic day on Saturday, shame to not see many other girls down there riding except for just 3 of us. Had a great time... passing few boys too (my zx636 goes alright!)... haaa haaa. It wasn't till the last session till I really got going good... i think the temperature under my suit didn't warm up until then. Anyway looking forward to seeing some more females down there riding in the future... it doesn't matter what bike you have, cruiser, sport or adventure... it's about giving it a go. At the beginning of the year Luana from Motorcycle Trader did the California Superbike School on a huge 1400 Harley so if she can ride the track on that, you can ride the track on anything. Can't wait to see the pics. Cheers
