I hate my friggin job!

I've been working as a kitchenhand in the same job for more than 5 years. I am so over working in a kitchen. I'm miserable and its time for a change!!!!!!!!!

I want to ride my bike!!!!. Its the only thing that makes me happy!!! I want to ride my bike for a job. I realise that courier rider jobs are few and far between these days, and becoming less and less of an option, as mail becomes electronic and many more parcels can be delivered by cars and vans.

there must be SOMETHING!! that I can do for a job that allows me to ride my bike all day.

Come on folks!! I want to pick your brains !! got any ideas? please share them and lets put our heads together. Perhaps you are in the same situation as me, maybe we can get together and make this happen.

I think first get out of that kitchen. Gain some perspective and once life has taken on a rosier hue consider your options.

i used to run a motorcycle courier firm.

after a few years,all of us bike "enthusiasts"hated bikes,hated cold mornings,hated traffic cops,hated woman drivers,etc.

Yup,there was a lot to hate.

Its the same as being married...........,dont ruin the thing you love by working with it.

LOL - way back when, when I delivered pizzas, we had a guy apply to do it on a motorbike.

On his FIRST delivery, he binned it and was off on ACC. Never came back cos he'd munted his bike too.

Get out of the kitchen. Being a kitchen hand sucks, I've been there.

So does delivering pizzas, I've been there too. The novelty of hooning around town in a GT Cortina wears off after a while.

But the main thing is that the reason you love riding your bike is because that's what you do when you're not at work. If you ride a bike at work, what will you be looking forward to doing on your time off?

I hear that you hate your job...but ...be grateful you have one..be grateful you have an income that provides you with the thrill of riding your bike. be grateful you're able to get out of bed in the morning and go to work at all.....being grateful makes life bareable!
