in the few times i used it it saved my arse problly twice i was 100% aware of and maybe another 2 times ..just a bleep , slow down and sure enough a cop darts past us from behind in the dips of murawhai beach road so i would have to say YES it works to prevent tickets in the time i used it ..

hey, so how was htis mounted and is it waterproof?

was just velcroed to a givi bracket that attaches to ya bars , or clutch lever ect. Maybe let mount go with radar , As for waterproof Im unsure as im a fair weather rider so never really had the chance to trial it ,, so i wont say a 100% def answer .
