Only heard a snippet on news last night, but seemed to say if girls go out looking for sports "stars" as conquests shit happens(usually consensual),been happening for years, wonder if the netballers have same problem of guys chucking themselves at the girls lol.
And speaking from personal knowledge years ago we had various sales reps, one was Allan Whetton just about to break into All Blacks,he was regular in Auckland and talk of him being close to national selection, hence boss had hired him just as he made Auckland squad. He came to our factory on Weds/Thurs and stayed overnight,a few of us went out for drinks with the boss, most ladies young and old were taken by him,6'5" brickshit house build etc,yep he got lucky, and no he didn't tell us,the girl who shagged him bragged(she was my girlfriends cousin, and I knew her boyfriend,he wasn't too happy when he was told).
Hello officer put it on my tab
Don't steal the government hates competition.
Seen this sort of behaviour by girls a few times when sports teams are around, especially if there is an AB or two there.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
it happens to me all the time, chicks throwing themselves at me cos im orsome
He wasn't even that good a lock forward. He still thinks it was down to him that the AB's got a penalty against Wales to win the game. He jumped (yes cheated) out of the lineout claiming he was pushed. The ref awarded a penalty to the AB's but it was for something else that happened, not Haden's antics. Brian McKechnie (sp) kicked the goal for the win.
McKechnie went on to be involved in another sporting moment, he faced the underarm ball.
Haden should now jump again before being pushed for real this time.
I would have thought this was about Andy Hadens inappropriate comments - made nationally, not about the action of some young girls. He stated, once again, what he thought ... and this time its time to cut the loses and say goodbye to his role. He obviously did not take the role of rugbu ambassitor seriously or he would have learnt that this is one big political game, and there are times to keep the trap shut.
From my reading it wasn't the young lady involved, with the dickhead who had sex wit her, who bought this to media attention, but a friend who was there. She has taken it the next step due to seeing that over the years his behavior had not changed. There are often learnt behaviours that are hard to change and this guy may have learnt, through being a pro rugby player that no one would pot him. Too bad, and harsh lesson to learn.

To be honest love him or loathe him,Haden says what he thinks, last of the non pc brigade.
And how many stories will there be next year of girls scoring with players etc, been happening since ww1 and won't stop because Haden is sacked.
Sure the culture is changing in top level rugby(well aside from a few dickheads, most players have to be behaved or the media results are headlines)the idiots like Brooke get chucked out,re Luaki (sp)latest exploits. And how many people have heard the old shag on the shield stories after the team wins the Ranfurly Shield(be it wife or gf).

while it appeared to be a light hearted comment, maybe even a piss take. It was an inappropriate comment for the particular case being discussed, and a dumb thing to say.
but he said something we all know to be at least partially true, there are some very vindictive people (male and female) out there that do some horrible things out of spite.
while he said something dumb it was not a specific accusation, and it does highlight a serious problem in our society.
he should not lose his job for it.
imo

Funnily enough, when this new allegation surfaced, I wondered aloud to Mrs Mully about whether it's only come about because the one he groped in Fiji got a financial settlement.
Still, it's one thing to wonder aloud and quite another to say it on TV when you hold that position.
