Love Handles?

another question - has anyone used "love handles"?
I saw some in Cycletreads - it is a belt for the rider to wear with handles on it for the pillion passenger to hold onto.
My Mum finds it hard to hold onto the handles behind her and I thought this might be a good alternative? She is only small and finds it hard to get her arms around my Dad.

I can answer my own question now - I went riding with the parents today and they had some "love handles". My Mum swears by them, says they are great to use and my Dad now doesn't have to worry that my Mum will fall off with sudden accleration.
Would be great for kids too.......
