Wanna see a guy turning into a zombie?

Figure of speech, but close enough.

Guy at work at a habanero the other day. He eats chilis all the time, i swear even his eyeballs went red. Rather amusing to watch.

I just received a packet of 50 Bhut Jolokia seeds on friday, already in the hot water cupboard germinating.

    Wish me luck!

Guy at work 6 weeks ago ate a whole half Jolokia, went to the hospital an hour later

Funniest shit ever watching his face screw into some form of terror as the heat dropped.

On the River Cottage program last week, they were using chili in everything. One of the guys on the program had bred his own hot chilis, which made everything else seem mild. He cut one open, and the presenter just barely touched it to the tip of his tongue. Whereas he'd been eating milder peppers like apples, this one just about blew his head off. Perhaps they should have had some flammable chemical warning...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Any chilli that has that "scotch bonnet" shape is to beware of...they're right bastards of things. When I had a commercial nursery, not even the Indian customers would buy them. They'd come in and say "You got hot chilli?" I show them what I had (heaps of varieties). When they saw the habaneros - or another one we knew as "gringo killer", they'd just say "Oh no - no like- too hot!"
One of them was what got me into trouble peeing without getting the chilli juice off me fingers first...half an hour under a cold shower later...ngngngrrrrmutermmmumblebastards

Owww I thought Cayenne Pepper in my kitchen was the hottest thing around. Oh well, still 4 times hotter than Jalapeño.

Good to see that dudes mate had the sense to keep the camera rolling instead of stuffing his head down the nearest toilet and flushing it. Dedication in the face of retardedness.

Trust me, you're still a loopy kent for having that Cayenne.
Hell, if I'm lucky, I'll have enough harvest to share.
After all, that's all I intend to grow them for
