Hayabusa 6k service. Does it matter if I'm a bit late?

That's more than higly unusual mate. I've not seen one apart in my whole time here since their introduction.

I'm told the original owner was an older guy and used to ride it all day in top gear at the 50k limit and twist the throttle like an automatic ( plenty of torque I guess ) ....for 9000 km's... then I bought it and, I guess I finished it off by riding it like I stole it.

Credit to the Bike shop that pulled it apart and fixed it at their expense ......
