Bit of pressure on for that round then! I think it could to be to keep the excitement up so the championships are not decided before the round begins. You would have to have a 100 point lead to have it won before the round

Yep i agree - it does unfourtunately cater HUGELY for high HP bikes...... With more wide open throttle app than any other track........ is you happy about that chopper.

It also will hugely cater for Manny legends, Glen S will be loving that call - he is so strong there.

What would be sweet if they changed the double points round location, each year - this way southern boys can have an advantage one year - or it would make more sense for it to be at hampton as its so new... no one would really be at an advantage.

Shit....well the VMCC Boys and Girls will be happy about this call....will make the attendance at the winter series swell quite a bit no doubt to cater for extra practice.

WHY. No one meeting in the Championship Series should be more important than any other. If anything the final round of the series, no matter where it is held, should be treated like this, but in fairness to ALL the organizing clubs, the rounds should ALL be even!!!!!!

This is the final round - I'm not sure if its a good idea or not (yet) but it does have some merit - I guess the championship will be decided there ?
Maybe the last round should be at HD (being the newest track and all) but I have no idea what the bookings are like for any of the circuits.

How about - give the teams an option of nominating one meeting for double points - sort of joker card to play at their favorite track (or if they are just feeling lucky) - Have up till 24 hours before official practice at any meeting to play it.

Other thing is there are 3x South Island rounds and 2x North Island rounds. It is fair to say that depend on where you live, you do have a bit of a home advantage at the tracks closest to you.

Doubling the points at Manfeild just evens things up as now there are equal points up for grabs between SI and NI.

You could just have two meeting with triple points - Ruapuna and HD - qualifying Friday race Saturday AND Sunday ? Make the logistics easier.

I like the idea of adding something extra to the final round, this will keep the interest in the championships going to probably the final race in each class, would be good to see this meeting recapture the type of atmosphere the shell two wheeler had in the 80's.

what it really means is that a crash at manfield is much much worse than a crash anywhere else. If you crash and have to withdraw from a days racing that is more punishing than skipping a round!!! jimmy smith & Sketchy's jump start in 1 race last year would be worth double and probably blow their chances of a title at the start. Every mistake you made during the weekend would be the equivalanet of making it twice.

if ya want double the points, do double the races, or points for qaulifying or whatever
