Its not like they handle well to start with anyhow so bit of a moot point really.
Tonys talk of ags with sidecars reminds me of my first bike a suzuki tc185 it had a sidecar on it when I got it hand ten gears ! It was seized from sitting so we fixed it with a large hammer and a bit or wood in the barrel lol .

Those old 2 strokes.. how did they keep going.
2 springs on the rear.. no travel.. front was no better.
have seen them seized on enduros.. cool them down. bit more oil.. a few bods pushing,, and away they went.
we dumped a susuki 125 in a creek one day.. went right under. took a gob full of water down the carb.. towed it for a few ks.. and away it went....
shit.. all this was over 30 years ago...
    havent things changed.....
And that is the honest truth your honour..

In the same way that a Norton Manx was considered to handle well was only that it was semi stable & didn't have much power to pull it out of shape. An AG is rubbish already, more power will make it worse.

I mean what is the point of all this anyway? Let's say you, on-the-cheap increase the performance up to TS125ER levels which would be asking a bit. What have you got? A dreadful bike with meagre power.

Take out an advert in Big Whoop magazine.

you need a reed block from a 125 with some carbon pettles and then also mod that so it flows even more.

Run Nitro methane in the fuel mix at 5% should give it a good kick
fuck that with 2~mm play in our big end

The best mods are the YZ exhaust, then put two cylinder base gaskets on to it and machine the head by 80-90 thou. that raises the ports.
If you are rebuilding the bottom end then stuff the crank. Force cork or balsa plugs into the crank balancing holes to increase primary compression.
Give it a CDI unit instead of points and a 28mm mikuni carbie.

Do all this and my CT90 will still beat you! Come summertime.....

    I'd say a CG125 would be a must.

You could always enter your CR. That would be a fair comp.

    Well well

I will have the AG going in a few weeks, once we decide what to do with that big end!
