I thought there were quite a few interesting 4 wheel vehicles - and I'm not interested in 4 wheeled vehicles. I didn't actually notice any Kias!

Some of the Hot Rods and Chevs were mint. That Merc made my day.

It was a pretty good show as far as the quality of business was concerned too. We sold an encouraging number of subscriptions - with thanks to those that did sign up.

yeah definitely, would have been more approriate if it was a rod show though. i loved that purple plymouth road runner. and the camaros. *Drools* ,
speed show...ehh i remember going to the auto shows few years back. there were enzos. lambos, and even a pagani zonda. thats the sorta thing we need .

I really like the Vision. The fact that guys like Cave Wetta don't is part of the attraction to someone who would buy one - and why they are now selling pretty well.

Well - that and the fact that they are a very good large touring motorcycle.

I thought it was great. Lots of bikes, great products and some cool cars.
    Loved the Detomaso Pantera.

We went and had a nosy on Sat morning. Was impressed at the number of stands and thought there was a good range. Avgas - there was a NZStreetfighters stand there - had lots of bling for sale too.

Must of been a lucky day for us as we got in for cheap (dodo at the gate gave us change when we gave her the exact amount!) and we also won a trip to the Goldcoast for 7 days! Will be going again next year for sure!!!!!

Went along for a gander. Not bad. It was good to be able to see the bikes in the flesh, so to speak. Would have been better if all the manufacturers had been represented, but you cannot have them all. Loved the BMW S1000rr bike. $30,000. With all the fruit, I felt was a bloody great buy. The RSV4 was gorgeous also. And the 675 Trumpy. And 1198, 898 Ducati's.

    Spoilt for choice.

Oh well, off to buy a winning lotto ticket.

There is only one Core and I got the impression that it travels with the boss, Mark Blackwell.

Why? Because the premise of all trade shows is to 'take the showroom to the people'. That is the gig. The budget for staging is then related to the potential audience/sales.

Sorry I didn't get to say "Hi" BD, the missus was getting real bored...and icecreams, hotdogs and chips only held her attention for so long.....

So didn't get photos of all the show bikes either... but got some montages going on:

Twas good to get there and have look at all the exhibits. Good to finally meet you to BD.

Liked the mini racing, brought back memories of Michale Caine's greatest line:

"You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off...!"

Meh - Michael Caine's best line is in 'Once Were Kings' where he replies when asked if Sean Connery (his fellow Seargenat Major) is 'Tough Enough'?

'Tuff Sah! Tuff Sah?! Only man I know who can belch and break wind sim-ul-taneoius-ly!'
