although i do think he could have easily parked on the pavement part above the disabled parking so he dosnt take up a whole disabled space with a bike. that part i dont like
Thats exactly what I was thinking.

All that room on the footpath & you chose to park in a disabled spot?

Sounds like mrs neels, she has CP but it's not immediately obvious, she doesn't want to get a mobility card as she figures she can still walk into a shop so the disabled parking is for those that can't. But at the end of a long day, once she has sat down on the couch that's it until she gets up and quite often gets me to help her to bed.

And she also hates wankers that park in disabled parks and then bound in to a shop, and think it's ok because they're only going to be 5 minutes.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

Seriously guys and girls padlocking and keying are not on really. If it upsets you that the guy parked his bike there just have a calm rational word with him/her.

    p.s I promise I won't park there again ok.

My mates a tetraplegic. He need those spaces just for basic access.

I'm past politely discussing it, as the person nicking the park always needed it for something important like getting chippies or beer.

I draw 'em a nice wheelchair piccy wiv me key on their door. It makes me feel better.

The bike in the pic doesn't have a door. Bunnings don't sell beer.

lol.. yep dead right... and I have never seen a bike in a disabled park, even for a few seconds.

Then again I only go to Bunnings to get keys cut... do you think they know ?

+1 while parking in those spaces is not on, the attitude of entitlement is scarey

Invest in a valve removal tool. Tiny and handy, and ideal for removing valves from the tyres of fuckers like that.

Much agreed. keying is really low. and when it happens to your shiny car/bike. you will see that it just destroys your day if not week. it really sucks

My Mother-in-Law was a severely affected polio survivor and the bravest person I have ever known. I HATE able bodied arseholes who park in disabled parking spaces. I usually ask the offender how bad their mental disablity is. And I can't help but wonder why the bike was still on it's stand.

Guess that states my position quite clearly enough

See I think - Bugger them they get what they deserve! If they weren't choosing to park like an inconsiderate plonker they wouldn't cause anyone to be pissed off enough with them to key or padlock their machine. Simple really

    Dumb ass

The thing to me is, anywhere is a motorcycle park, all he had to do was pull up on the foot path or somewhere like that.

I would have either pushed the thing over with my bumper, or padlocked it with a $15 master lock that is bolt cutter proof......

There is the remote possibility the rider was dissabled..... other than mentally though I am not sure lol...... Maybe he had one leg, or lost a finger???????

i know a guy in states who recently had surgery on his ankle. he got sick of asking his friends to drive him to appointments so rigged up a way to carry his crutches on his back. he was able to ride to his appointments where he was told to keep it up as it was aiding the healing. lol.

i hate wankers who park in disabled parks when they are not entitled to. there should be stronger penalties.
