    FOR SALE: *****HONDA CBR400RR*****

Hey guys. Time to sell the bike and get a car.....my mrs doesn't like me taking her car all the time so I've been told to sell my bike and get me a car for work etc.

    Its a Honda CBR400rr NC23.
    56.xxxkms
    near new WOF and REGO
Front tyre is a Super Corsa so you know how expensive and awesome they are
REAR tyre is a Battelaxe so its pretty good.
Frame is is excellent condition and fairing is all there and cracks have been plastic welded all that needs to be done is a little paint.
Rides very well, front brakes may need a bleed but they work BLOODY WELL!
Its 1989 model so its not perfect but show me a bike this old for this price that is perfect. ITS A HONDA SO WHAT MORE CAN I SAY!!!

Engine has a little ticking sound so I took it into Gisborne Honda and the head tech there said its nothing to worry about....all bikes make ticks sometime in their lifes. Its a very quick bike for a 400cc, I've ridden a 600cc and to be honest for a 400cc its not slow after ridding the 600cc. Nice to ride real comfy and all in all great bike for the price I'm wanting.

    $2500ono.

give me a txt or ring if interested or even email me

YES PLEASE!!!! I don't want to sell my baby...I was working on it 5mins ago because the carbs have a small crack in a plasic part allowing fuel to leak (will take it into Honda tomorrow to be fixed) and I felt that excitement that one feels when they look at their bike. It might not be as fast as a larger cc bike and it may not be as good looking as the new CBR1000rr but its mine and thats what is all about.

I will never turn into one of those "I use to ride a bike when I was 21" guys....If I sold my bike now I would be buying another one towards the end of the year or at the beginning of the next.

Must get back out to the shed and clean the bike alittle more.....thanks for the comments guys!

If any one has a bike like a FXR150 one of those 2 stroke Kawasakis I would be keen to do a swap + cash. That way I would have money to bike a cheap car and still have a steed to gallop around on.

    Cheers peps!

It's all good. Yeah its not a bad bike aye, I came off a FZR250 and jumped on this. Had it for about 3 days or normal to work riding then took it for a burn up into the hills and cricky it was a whole different story. No more waiting for the revs to wine up high and for the power to come on it was instant. Awesome for powering out of corners...I can't wait to ride a 750 or 1000.

Youll find most decent FXR150s go for pretty much what your asknig for your 400.
Mega inflation because of the 250cc limit, i cry inside everytime i see cheap 400/600cc bikes

Oh I fully agree with you and the prices of smaller cc bikes. I walked into Red Baron once and was shocked to see the prices on ther ZXR250s and CBR250s and what hits me more is the fact that they sell. Thats why I would expect a bike that isnt in totally mint condition and has a few kms on the clock.

    Cheers.
