Yeah .. that makes more sense ... Some people will try to tell you it runs on sound waves .... but it's actually something like this ... if I can remember my physics from last century ...
The gas inside the tube is heated, expands and pushes the piston out ... as the piston moves, the pressure inside the tube drops, and the air cools, assisted by the heat sink (the lumps/clamp around the tube) creating enough vacuum that as the flywheel comes around, it pushes/sucks the piston inside the tube, pressurizing the air, which heats up from pressure ansd the candle .. and around it all goes ...
It will run on just the wire mesh, which is right at the candle -
That's a very up-market one. Bet he didn't make it himself ... it's something kids can make in a garage ... at least they did before Playstation ...

The twin's cool ... I wonder what the energy in vs energy produced is like ? It could be pretty efficent.

build quality on the quad rocker is excellent, I'm thinking bout putting a v8 one together (4 middle cylinders hot, end ones cool). Anyone got ideas for making the cylinder and pistons real good, metals, needs rings? etc
