Because of all the people who like having tattoos of languages they don't understand, I've been considering having a tattoo in Linear A on my back. (Plus it would look pretty cool.)

Tatts to do with herds involve cows do't they?? Cue Cowpoos...

Right on Sunny and Rash.. My tat is for me. It took me an age (10 years plus) to sort out what I wanted (it may look to some like someone else's) but it's unique and mine, for me. I don't really give a shit what anyone else thinks of it. Incidentally no-one has ever said a bad word about it.

I also waited until I had a design that was uniquely me and I got it done when I wanted to, not because "everyone else had one". In fact, I was the only one of my circle of friends at the time who had a tattoo.

Yeah, same here. I wouldn't do it just because it's "cool", and similarly, only one of my friends has a tattoo. I want to do it simply because I think it would be neat. Like my piercings (all six of them...in rather boring, normal places I'm afraid)...my mum wasn't too keen on them but I got them just because I wanted them.
