Also the Kart club have 4 endurance races on their Sunday 15th club day
A 15 minute, 20 minute, 30 minute and 60 minute race. So I think I will give that a miss as well.
Ok so both have been cancelled. Good thing I just managed to dig a deeper hole of debt and buy a membership to the club and a key haha. Count me in if there is ever a group of buckets heading there for practice if you don't mind the extra traffic!
I was going to post somthing here but have put it in the social group thread in the interests of not having a public post with me calling people names.

Bugger, I like the interesting threads with the politics.
Actually, I like reading the planning and then the slagging off after the races and trying to figure out who's who (yeah right, like I remember anyone's name, excepting for 5 of you lot).
I do cringe everytime I see you needing to cancel or figure out if it's worthwhile to run the event, when Auckland and Hawkes Bay are pretty strong at the moment. (I do figure the SI is in the same position as us). I have heard that Auckland was in a similar situation not too long ago (sorry, no idea as to when), so hope that it's about to turn for you as well.
I asked the following:
A few of the bike people are keen to race, but I am not sure if we would fit into this (pretty sure we didn’t attend last year)
What do you think?
Would there be time for a bike endurance race in the afternoon as well?
Cheers
Here is the response:
Sure we can fit you in, will just confirm back to you after our committee meeting on Tuesday
How long would you want for your enduro race.
So, what do you think, how long would you want to have as an endurance race?
Will there be enough interest in this?
Here are the details for the endurance day:
August clubday is fast approaching and is on Sunday 15 August, this is our annual Enduro meeting and is a trophy event. Trophys are presented at our annual prize giving on Friday 24 September 2010.
Below are the details of the classes and what is required. Basically the day starts like a normal clubday with a tuning run and then a couple of heats. After lunch we have the following Enduro races
Senior drivers this is a great chance for you to pair up with another driver and have some driver changes during the event, unless of course you can do the whole 60 minutes yourself. The day is a really fast paced and fun event and there will of course be teching at the end of the days races.
