Disappearing thread?

Went into GBR tonight and saw a thread entitled "Sad Ending but worth the watch"
The post went something along the lines of 'thought it was a piss take but it wasn't, was sad'. I clicked the link wondering what it was, and a message came up - link doesn't exist, contact site admin. When I went back into see what else was there it had vanished!

How often does this happen?

How do you know its missing when you can't find it? Maybe its your imagination and it never existed?
