Red face Woodybee's Sweden and Denmark Tour - 7 day's time and counting

Gday Dudes and Dudess's wow what a busy summer have hardly had a chance to sit down and answer emails let alone get on here, or facebook.

I now only ahve 7 days tilll my 16 days tour of Sweden and Denmark, going to 2 enourmous rallies in both countries. hope I get furthest travelled eh.

Going to wash and police my bike in a few days time for the trip down there, got my sta nav, maps and ferries booked.

Am nervously excited to the point of being on fire for this trip.....cant wait......Zero alcohol tolerance on the roads over there, so will give my liver a rest on the in between bit and go and see where I end up.

IDB you would so love this trip and wish I could have you coming with me with the rest of my fab NZ mates , how groovy would that be eh

Taking Tex a Fold Up Chair and a bag of donuts to the bike shop tommorow as Tex is getting the once over, filter and oil change, and sit and watch them and learn a bit more about tex while I am there, am well looking forward to that.

Now for some sleep, the nearer this trip gets the more I dream I am on the road.....I love it......

Big hugs to all of you, from your woodybee xxx

Wow Jan that sounds awesome. Post up your photos - that's probably as close as I'll get to see that area. Miss you at the rallies, they're all about to start again. I suppose yours will be starting to wind down soon. When's your next trip back here planned?

Like the rest, very envious. Be an interesting comparison with the experiences of Sweden etc described in the book "Uneasy Rider" (not that you have to be male or middle aged ). It will make for some great stories at the March Hare...

    Talking Hey Dudes,

I have enrolled on a distance learning "Write and Be Published" so intend to write journal notes all the way, starting from just before I leave the house, my thoughts and hopes etc., so will get a blog for you dudes to read, as this jsut runs out too quickly.

Reading Ted Simons "Jupiters Travels" it has been a pick up and put down book, but now fully engrossed in it......and thats inspiring, he is truly literary brilliant writer, bit on the posh side but it was written in the 70's. Was in my local book shope the other day and Ted has written another one, (Return to Jupiter, or somethign like that!) and he is in his 60's now, about the trip he did back there recently, so going to buy it and read it on the ferry.....IDB says it will be a book to just carry on, as he knows how I love to mingle....but will read it in the pubs and cafes on route.

God I cannot wait eh.............espcecially being a copy the job is just so shyte, thats its such a feeling of exhubarence for me to jump astride my bike and wind up the revs and go somewhere, the sense of freedom and unknow fun, just fills me to the brim with cheshire smiles eh........

Everything about the tirp is going to be fun, even the run down to Harwich, the ferry port....going to chuck my throw away bbq and have a barby on the way down.....jus to get in the spirit and down it with a cool beer.......as the words of the song say "LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED"........

Before you all get bored going to sign off for now.....but will take loads of photos and download them all on my facebook......

Any of you want to facebook me its jantimberlake44.........theres a few of you on there, and I check that fairly recently.

I'll be winging it over there for the MARCH HARE 2011 rally xtra hours permitting.

Frigging hell I cant wait to see you guys there, get there Friday dudes and lets hit the town for a feed ont he Friday night, and back to the rally site for a really good get together eh.

Missing you all leaps and bounds.....

OK so it's nearly six weeks since you should have arived back home, and ....nada.. not a peep.
Is it taking a long time to polish your report into a literary masterpiece that will dazzle those of us eagerly awaiting some good entertainment?
