    Free kul-cha!

    No, not free yoghurt.....

Friday 13th 7pm at the Telstra Clear centre, FREE performance of The Cassanova Project - an adaptation of Don Giovanni by Mozart.

Featuring Tina Cross, Kevin Keys, and Richard (sorry can't remember his surname off the top of my head, but he has sung the part of the High Commissioner/Statue around the world, in Italian of course). But our production has been translated into modern English so if you have ever wondered what the heck the words all meant in this opera (bet some of you have wondered...) come along and find out!

Great soloists, plus talented singing students from Manurewa High, and the Auckland Philharmonia!! And did I mention it's free?

I was called in at the last minute to replace an errant rehearsal pianist and although I'm not an opera fan this is really fun and exciting.

Go on, do something completely different on Friday 13th August!! Sadly i will not be playing on the night as I can't attend the day time dress rehearsals, but the bonus for me is that I can come along and watch instead. Will be a great performance - do come!!

That's ok. You could have just said you were busy washing your hair and painting your nails.

    I'd have understood.

Yeah ... but I don't do those things ... I'm a boy, in case you haven't noticed ... well I do wash my hair after it has been under a helmet for a few days .. otherwise it stains the pillow case and my wife complains
