    5 hours from my house to picton with a single brief stop for gas.

    Every body else if FOS.

    Hey Phil. Considering it took me ~ 3/4 hr to get to the airport from yours that's pretty good going.

    Thanks guys I think we have a decent feel for it.

    Kirk that engine of yours better not weigh me down too much & affect the Van's startling acceleration

    Well it took us 4&3/4 hrs with a 15min subway meal.

    On the way back it probably did take 7 hrs, but only as we were ludicrously early so stopped several times to eat & waste time.

    Well we had a beer or so on the way (PS the Monteith's Pilsner in Kiakora was off) when we got to Picton nothing aside the the ferry centre was open. Still had to drive on other side of ferry anyway.
